Aloha!

Our group is quite diverse, we have people representing a variety of cultures.  We have come together to learn about Hawaiian culture and to educate ourselves on sustainable living practices which have been developed by Native Hawaiians hundreds of years ago.
I spent my first three nights in Hawaii awaiting the group as they had a few flight delays.  Fortunately for me, i was flying out of Vancouver, BC, a place untouched by the arctic vortex which caused many issues at airports across North America.  These days consisted of sunbathing on various beaches and going snorkeling in reefs that could easily be featured in National Geographic.  The hostel I lived at was filled with people from all over the world, it was really neat to hear all their wild adventures.  Once the group arrived they picked me and another classmate up at the hostel and our journey began!
